Determine the center point and search in a circle using a compass and rope.

After making one lap and returning to the original position, extend the rope by a distance of half the visavility so that the viewing areas overlap, and then make another lap.

The rope is extended every lap and the area that is from determined center point to the entire rope length is searched.

Due to the use of rope, this method is not suitable if the sea floor is not flat.
