  • Disclaimer
    Each STARS net-diver school partner dive shop operates its own independent programs, including orientation, practical skills training, and diving tours. STARS shall bear no responsibility or liability for any damage, injury, loss, or claim arising directly or indirectly, or involving third parties, that may occur after completion of the final check and during activities conducted at partner dive shops.
  • Important Notices and Fees
    Each STARS net-diver school partner dive shop independently sets its own fees, which may vary among shops. Please contact the respective dive shop directly for detailed information regarding fees and services.
  • Course Completion Confirmation Expiry
    The course completion confirmation email, which serves as proof of successfully completing and passing the final check, is valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Please ensure that this validity period does not expire before use.
  • Medical Contraindications to Diving and Medical Certification Requirement
    If you have any of the following medical conditions or symptoms, you must present a valid medical certificate issued by a licensed physician confirming your fitness for diving before participating in any orientation, practical skills training, or diving activities at a partner dive shop:

    Perforated eardrum / Ménière’s disease / otitis / chronic sinusitis / nasal cavity obstruction (nasal polyps or deviated septum) / hay fever / recent dental treatment or dental appliances / bronchial asthma / spontaneous pneumothorax / pulmonary emphysema / tuberculosis / residual pulmonary cavities / smoking-related bronchial inflammation / acute respiratory infections (including colds, pneumonia, or bronchitis) / arrhythmia / coronary or valvular heart disease / cardiomyopathy / hypertension / neurological disorders / alcoholism / neuralgia / epilepsy / hypersensitivity disorders / migraine / head injury accompanied by seizures or abnormal EEG / stroke (including cerebral hemorrhage or infarction) / arthritis / rheumatoid arthritis / myositis / duodenal ulcer / hepatitis / pancreatitis / diabetes mellitus / thyroid disorders / glaucoma / conjunctivitis / paralysis / obesity / pregnancy / inability to equalize ear or sinus pressure when flying or driving at altitude / fear of heights or open spaces / susceptibility to motion sickness / or failure of heart rate to return to normal within 45 seconds after stepping on and off a chair five times within five seconds.

STARS and the STARS net-diver school, including all manuals and final check content, make no guarantees regarding fitness, suitability, or outcomes. All use of the STARS net-diver school services is at the sole responsibility of the user. While reasonable measures are taken to prevent computer viruses and similar issues, STARS assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from such causes.

■ Warning Regarding Fraudulent Test-Taking
If, during practical skills training or related review questioning, a partner dive shop instructor reasonably suspects that the final check was completed by a third party rather than by the registered student, the instructor is authorized to re-examine the student. If fraudulent activity is confirmed, the partner dive shop may refuse to continue training.
