The first step toward becoming an instructor is to enroll in the Open Water Instructor Course, where you will learn how to teach basic diving programs.

After becoming certified as an Open Water Instructor, you may advance to the Advanced Instructor Course, which prepares you to teach advanced diving programs, and then to the Instructor Trainer Course, which qualifies you to conduct the Open Water Instructor Course.
