■Buoyancy Adjustment by Fin Kicks

When using fins, divers move their fins alternately downward and upward to propel themselves forward. The downward kick usually provides most of the propulsion.

However, if you rely only on strong downward kicks, your body may gradually move upward. By consciously performing a controlled upward kick, you can maintain a horizontal position and prevent unwanted ascent.
