Boat diving procedures

Boat diving requires extra care because space on deck can be limited, and waves may make the boat unstable.

Before the dive, confirm entry and exit procedures, the underwater route, planned maximum depth and time, communication signals, each person’s role, and emergency procedures.

Make sure you, the captain/crew, your buddy, the team leader, and the support team share the same plan and can communicate clearly.
