Once you have towed the diver to water approximately waist deep, remove your weight system.
Next, remove both your BCD and the diver’s BCD to reduce weight and improve mobility.
Remove your fins before attempting to move onto shore.

Assist the diver onto shore using a back-hold carry technique.
If additional rescuers are available, form a human chain to safely move the diver to land.
