■Raising to a boat or a place with steps

When you arrive at the boat, remove your weight.
Next, remove your and the diver's BC. Also take off your fins.

For small boats, use a straight arm lift.
Secure both hands of the diver with your one hand to the edge of the boat, then climb onto the boat and pull up the diver.

For larger boats, pull up the diver with a rope roll-up or rudder carry.

When using rudder carry, raise your feet high to avoid dropping the diver. Hold the diver and climb the ladder.
