■Regulator set

Nitrox contains a lot of oxygen, so if the regulator set used for air is used for nitrox, it may cause oxidation or ignition.

Let's ultrasonically clean the regulator set used in the air and upgrade the parts of the equipment that Nitrox contacts to oxygen resistant ones dedicated to Nitrox. However, some regulators cannot be used for Nitrox.Check with your manufacturer or retailer to see if your current regulator set can be upgraded for Nitrox.

If you use the Nitrox only regulator set for air, you will not be able to use it for Nitrox again.

It's a good idea to have both Air only regulator and Nitrox only regulator.

■Nitrox compatible dive computer

While Air diving, we use a dive computer that displays the no decompression dive limit to avoid decompression sickness, While Nitrox diving, we use a dive computer that displays the oxygen poisoning limit and the no decompression dive limit to avoid oxygen poisoning .

You can enter the oxygen ratio of Nitrox in advance and manage the non-decompression dive limit and the oxygen poisoning limit according to the type of Nitrox used.

■Tanks

Nitrox is contained in a special tank that uses oxygen-resistant parts.

In order to distinguish it from the air tank, a large seal labeled "NITROX" or "ENRICHED AIR NITROX" is wrapped around the tank.

■Analyzer

It is a measuring instrument to check the oxygen concentration of the tank used before diving.

The Nitrox oxygen ratio written on the tank may differ slightly from the actual filled oxygen ratio, so be sure to measure it for safety.
