Dolphin Facts

Boat-based dolphin swims involve searching for pods in areas where dolphins are commonly found. Be fully prepared before departure, as encounters may occur shortly after leaving port.

When dolphins are sighted, the team leader will instruct divers to enter the water from the port side, starboard side, or both, depending on conditions.

After entering the water, move away from the boat immediately. Never approach the stern area, as the propeller presents a serious hazard. Maintain a safe distance from the vessel at all times.

Exercise caution around the boat

During multi-location dolphin swims, the team leader will signal when it is time to return to the boat. Remain close to your group so you can regroup efficiently.

When re-boarding, approach from the side of the boat — never from the stern near the propeller. Follow the specific entry and exit procedures provided by the crew.

You may enter and exit the water multiple times during the excursion. Participate according to your physical condition. If you feel fatigued or unwell, remain on the boat and rest.

Seasickness can significantly reduce enjoyment and safety. Ensure adequate rest and proper meals before boarding. Maintain good hydration and physical condition throughout the trip.
