1. Rinse the affected area gently with seawater (not fresh water) to remove tentacles without touching them directly. If available, carefully remove visible tentacles with tweezers or a gloved hand.
2. After rinsing, apply a cold compress to reduce pain and swelling.
3. Do not rub the area, as this may cause additional stinging.
4. Seek medical attention if pain is severe, symptoms worsen, or signs of allergic reaction occur (difficulty breathing, dizziness, swelling).
