- Rinse the affected area gently with seawater (not fresh water) to remove tentacles without touching them directly. If available, carefully remove visible tentacles with tweezers or a gloved hand.
- After rinsing, apply a cold compress to reduce pain and swelling.
- Do not rub the area, as this may cause additional stinging.
- Seek medical attention if pain is severe, symptoms worsen, or signs of allergic reaction occur (difficulty breathing, dizziness, swelling).
