■Underwater Light

At depth, sunlight is significantly reduced, making an underwater light an essential piece of equipment.

In low-visibility or dark conditions, your buddy’s light also helps you maintain visual contact and awareness of each other’s position.

■Descent Line

Prepare a descent line to assist with controlled descents and ascents.
Attach an appropriate weight to the end of the line.
Secure the weight firmly so it remains stable on the bottom and does not drift.

■Emergency Scuba Equipment

Position a safety stop bar and emergency scuba equipment at the planned safety stop depth in preparation for a possible emergency decompression situation.

During the safety stop, buoyancy may increase as tank pressure decreases.
Place wrist weights used for the safety stop in a mesh bag and suspend them from the safety stop bar for easy access and control.
