Deep diving increases the amount of nitrogen absorbed by your body.
If dissolved nitrogen forms bubbles due to improper dive planning or inappropriate behavior before or after diving, decompression sickness may occur.
Always use a dive computer or dive tables and follow the guidelines below to ensure safe and comfortable diving.

If you do not follow these guidelines…

Older and overweight divers should consider shorter dive times and conservative dive profiles.

Enjoy diving within your limits

Get adequate rest before diving, and do not dive if you feel fatigued, unwell, or dehydrated.

Wear appropriate thermal protection to maintain body temperature and reduce cold stress.

Be cautious of cold stress during deep dives

Avoid alcohol before and after diving, and refrain from smoking around dive activities.
