Mark the starting point at your feet. |

Hold your compass properly and aim your front in the direction of the rubber arrow pointing towards the target. |

Rotate the bezel so that the north side of the magnetic needle is between the index marks. |

Be careful not to shift the north side of the magnetic needle from the gap between the index marks, and move straight for 10 steps (kick) toward the rubber line and stop. |

To get back to the starting point, rotate your body so that the south side of the magnetic needle is between the index marks. |
