■ Vomiting
If you feel nauseated underwater, remain calm.
Keep the regulator in your mouth. If necessary, slightly tilt your head and allow the regulator to remain in place while you vomit. Modern regulators are designed to allow expelled material to be cleared safely.
After vomiting, press the purge button to clear the regulator and resume normal breathing.
If discomfort continues, signal your buddy, safely terminate the dive, and ascend in a controlled manner.

■ Underwater Entanglement
If you become entangled in fishing line, rope, or nets, stop immediately and avoid sudden movements.
Signal your buddy and assess the situation carefully.
If possible, remove or free the trapped equipment calmly. Fishing line can often be cut safely using a dive knife or line cutter.
Maintain neutral buoyancy throughout the process to prevent further entanglement.
