■Measures for seasickness

■Seasickness measures

* Meal

Avoid boarding on an empty stomach or when you are overly full. Eat a light, low-fat meal a few hours before departure.

* Eyes

Complete detailed tasks (such as equipment setup) before the boat departs whenever possible. While underway, look at the horizon or a fixed point on land.

* Vomiting

If you feel nauseous during the trip, move to a well-ventilated area downwind, such as the stern.
Maintain a secure position and be careful not to fall overboard.

* Boarding position

In general, motion is reduced near the middle of the boat, so choose a seat close to the center when possible.
Stay in an area with fresh air and avoid exhaust fumes.
On larger boats, remain on an open deck in the breeze rather than inside a closed cabin.
